  • SUGAR SHACK® Buttonbush

Buttonbush is an excellent native plant for wet, even boggy, sites. Its perfectly round, fragrant flowers support pollinator populations and delight gardeners who enjoy a bit of whimsy. However, the original was just really big. Much larger than most folks could fit in their gardens! Sugar Shack® was selected for its naturally compact habit – it is about half the size of typical buttonbush. It also has showy red fruit in the fall rather than the typical green fruit. It makes a lovely addition to manicured and wild landscapes alike.

    Why grow Sugar Shack buttonbush?

    • Plentiful summer blooms for pollinators
    • Compact habit
    • Native to North America
