    BEYOND MIDNIGHT® Bluebeard

Send summer off on a high note with Beyond Midnight® bluebeard. Also known as blue mist spirea, this sun-loving shrubby perennial comes alive in late summer with spiky clusters of deep blue florets. The foliage is a very nice dark green for beautiful contrast that’s right at home in the landscape or flower garden. For best results, plant in full sun, well-drained (even dry) soil, and cut back each spring to maintain a dense and handsome plant. Flowers attract a parade of pollinators!

With an annual hard prune in late winter, it springs back up in the perfect rounded form. Hundreds of whimsical multi-tiered blooms act as a buffet for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. • SUNSHINE BLUE® II Bluebeard

For gardeners who love a colorful space! Sunshine Blue® II bluebeard has a baseline of cheerful yellow-y chartreuse foliage. Its springy rounded habit bears the color perfectly, presenting itself as a sunny little ball for the middle or front of the border. Thanks to its constant color, you could easily plant it in place of coleus! In late summer, the color display doubles! Its airy stems fill with little bunches of bright blue, flowers. This view is the reason for its other common name – blue mist spirea. From afar, it looks like a little blue cloud is hovering over the little mass of foliage. As a note, it’s not actually related to spirea one bit.

    • Very hardy and adaptable to many conditions
    • Great pollinator plant
    • Grows quickly to its mature size
