Smaller than other Viburnum dentatum, this variety has very shiny foliage that catches the light beautifully. It is a good size for residential landscapes. Plant near All That Glows™ Viburnum as a pollinator. This native plant will tolerate clay soil and black walnut.


Light: Grows in full to part sun. Needs at least 4 hours of direct sunlight to develop flower buds.

Soil: Will grow in any type of well-draining soil.

Water: Has average water needs, but will not tolerate sogginess.

Fertilizing: Apply a fertilizer formulated for flowering woody shrubs in early spring.

Pruning: Pruning isn’t recommended, as it will affect either flowering or berry set. If needed, you can prune in the late winter or early springtime.

Other: Requires a pollinator to produce berries, use All that Glows viburnum.
