LITTLE DIPPER® Cotoneaster

Zone: 5, 6, 7, 8 Exposure: Full Sun Height: .5-1' Width/Spread: 4-5'

A fine, low-growing plant with white flowers in spring and red berries in late summer. The dense low habit makes it less prone than other varieties to catching leaves and other debris. A durable, low-maintenance Mass planting, it will tolerate some drought.

Light: Needs full to part sun exposure to thrive, this is a minimum of four hours of direct sun.

Soil: Grows in literally any soil type.

Water: Average water needs.

Fertilizing: Nothing special required.

Pruning: Nothing is typically needed, as it naturally spreads in a quirky groundcover manner. If you need to do any pruning, you can do so in late winter or early spring. Just keep in mind that you’ll be removing those flowers and resulting berries.
