Whether you have a small yard or just don’t want to spare any more of your precious real estate, North Pole® arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis) is the perfect choice. Growing just 3-5′ wide but 10-15′ tall, it’s a space-saving evergreen that can be planted in so many different ways: as a distinctive specimen, in sculptural groups, as a narrow hedge, or paired for a touch of formality at entryways. This native arborvitae is very hardy (down to USDA zone 3)  and adaptable to various soils and conditions.

Why grow North Pole arborvitae?

  • One of the most space-saving varieties – requires only 3-5′ square feet of ground space
  • Keeps a lush green color all year-round
  • Native to North America
