Zone: 5, 6, 7, 8 Exposure: Full Sun, Part Sun Height: 6-8' Width/Spread: 2'

Selected for its unique flower form, delicate foliage, and appealing color. The primary bloom time for these Atragene-type clematis is mid-late spring, with Long blooming coming throughout the summer.

Light: Foliage needs to be exposed to a minimum of four hours of light. In cool, northern climates it will thrive in full sun. In warmer, southern climates it benefits from having a bit of afternoon shade. Anywhere it grows, it performs best when the soil surface above the roots is shaded. This can be with mulch or other plants.

Soil: Absolutely needs to be well draining. Prefers fertile soil that is neutral or a bit alkaline. If your soil leans acidic, you can apply a little lime and check again in a year.

Water: Average water needs, but really resents sogginess.

Fertilizing: Uses a lot of nutrients in a season. Apply a granular fertilizer in late winter/early spring when the soil is workable.

Pruning: If required, prune after main spring flowering.
