YUKI CHERRY BLOSSOM® Deutzia

Zone: 5, 6, 7, 8 Exposure: Full Sun, Part Sun Height: 1-2' Width/Spread: 1-2'

A pink-flowered version of Deutzia ‘Nikko’, Yuki Cherry Blossom™. Its neat, mounded habit and good deer-resistance makes this a very useful plant for the front of the border, in containers, or cascading over a low wall in groupings or drifts. This shrub blooms in spring, but its rich purple fall foliage gives it multi-season appeal.

Light: Will grow nicely in a range of sun exposures, even shady spots! In warm, southern climates it should be grown with a bit of shade to keep it from burning.

Soil: Performs best in moist soil that drains well.

Water: Average water needs.

Fertilizing: Isn’t typically needed.

Pruning: Maintains its small size naturally, but it responds well to a trim. If you’d like to prune it, you can do so in the spring after it’s done flowering.
